Surveys started at former Necchi area in Pavia
to start urban renewal

v Re Srl company of Paolo Signoretti and Heinz Peter Hager took over the former Necchi area, near the city centre of Pavia, in Northern Italy. The place was well known for being a productive site of sewing machines and compressors, in the last decades.

The regeneration of the entire site, which has fallen into disuse and been left abandoned, consists of a powerful mix of residential buildings, facilities in support of the nearby hospital, co-working spaces, green areas and tracks to favour bicycle and pedestrian mobility.

In these days, Signoretti and Hager’s team has conducted a survey to verify the actual conditions of the location. This is the first step to plan the operations of decontamination, in order to start the urban renewal that will change the future of this part of Pavia.
